cooking fish – please help!?

Can someone please answer as many of these questions on grilling fish as possible:

1) Why is fish coated prior to grilling?

2) List two alrenative coatings for fish to be grilled

3) How is fresh grilled fish prepared over a grill for B-B-Q

The fish is coated in oils to increase surface temperate of the fish and prevent the insde from drying, color, and make it non-stick.

Olive oil or peanut oil. If you have neither try canola.

Personally I sere my fish in a skillet really quick before applying to the grill. What this does is trap the flavors insde. Juices = flavor!!! Also it allows you a chance to coat the fish with your spices.
